...you go to the beach no matter what the weather is like.Sadly I don't bring you all stories of rainforests and tropical islands, nothing nearly as exotic as that. Small things like receiving post, having a full fridge and maybe even finding another pair of underwear so you can put off laundry are all thrilling things when you are a student.
Sometimes when this kind of excitement gets too much a voyage of some sort is needed, to break out from the student bubble and explore the world. So of course the most obvious thing to do at the end on January is to go to the beach for the day and a trip to the sun soaked paradise of Bournemouth was planned.
It was far from warm and quickly the feeling was lost in my feet, possibly not helped by the fact that I did paddle a bit, but was very good fun making sandcastles and having long jump competitions.

These things are thrilling for me too! Yesterday my friend left us some mangoes which properly excited me, I recieved a letter from Louise and was hyper for about half an hour, and I have to hand-wash my underwear in a bucket so an additional pair of pants are much appreciated!
